Book condition: fine, magnificent collection of color and b/w plates, text in Japanese though there is a summary in English describing the different types and styles of masks presented in the book, book is set in the Japanese style, written back to front and starts with a set of wonderful color plates, the summary lists a total of 222 plates and designates some of those as either important cultural properties or art objects, beautifully bound in a tan burlap this volume is in impeccable condition inside and out, binding tight, slipcase shows some wear to the head and tail of the spine, 10.5 X 14.5 inches, overseas shipping may be extra.
