This is a small, approximately 6 1/2 by 5 inch, hard cover with red cloth boards and silver decorations and lettering on the front board. The spine has a paper label which is darkened and the title in black, but difficult to read. The author inscribed this book on the first plain end paper, on New Year's Eve, and the family to whom the book was inscribed, The Gobles, have affixed their bookplate to the front pastedown. The end papers are green decorated paper. There are multiple images included in this unpaginated volume including line drawings in red ink, black-and-white photographic reproductions, and other illustrations. The images are separated from the other pages by a rose colored tissue paper with a typed title of the image in black. The page edges have darkened and there is a small stain on the bottom edge.
