About the Editor Dr. David I. Cleland is the Ernest E. Roth Professor and Professor of Engineering Management at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Fellow of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is often described as the "Father of Project Management" and is the only two-time recipient of PMI?s Outstanding Contribution to Project Management Award. Some of Cleland?s other books include Project Management: Strategic Design and Implementation, 2/e McGraw-Hill, Inc. (1988).
