Paperback. This work traces the uses of the so-called "final -y" inInscriptional Parthian, and provides the distributional rules thatgovern its presence or absence in certain words. Following theintroduction, the bulk of this study consists of three main headingsinvolving, firstly, the presentation of the Aramaeographic forms and thewords outside the nominal inflexion, secondly, the classification of thenominal forms in connection with the final -y and, finally, afeasible history of the Parthian nominal inflection.
