Saddle-stapled binding. 8 pages, introduction and checklist. 1st thus edition (undated), reprint of article originally published in journal Erythea, Vol. 6, June 1898. CONDITION: FINE, binding square and tight, pages crisp and unmarked; wrappers with some sunning at edges, top outer corner lightly bumped and creased; former owner's name printed neatly in ink on front. Scarce. CONTENT: Alice Eastwood (January 19, 1859 ? October 30, 1953) was a Canadian American botanist. She is credited with building the botanical collection at the California Academy of Sciences, in San Francisco.
