Vintage print of a flower fairy - The Orchid. Monogram seems to read WJ and is dated '98 (1898). Art Nouveau style. Presented in a green mount ready to frame. Mounted size is 265 by 190mm (10Â½ by 7Â½ inches). Other fairies in stock by the same illustrator - these pre-date Cicely Mary Barker by over 20 years are likely inspired by Alphonse Mucha's The Seasons (1896-1897) Very clean, bright and neat.
