A very scarce Danish translation of this charming children's story from Australian novelist Ethel Turner. Danish. Scarce edition. Following the youngest child of a family struggling to make a living. Her three older brothers are growing up tough under their straightened circumstances, but little Flower is frail and it is feared that she won't survive to adulthood. And so she is sent to relatives in Sydney, where it is hoped she will grow stronger in the milder climate. Written by Ethel Turner, an English-born Australian novelist and children's literature writer. Translated by Aagot Holst, a Norwegian translator. In the original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss to the board tips with small splits to the cloth at the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Minor age toning to the endpapers with a contemporary ink inscription to the title page. Good. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 918T62
