An edition of On Foot Round Settle by George H. Brown. With maps and illustrations. Also a Chapter on the Plants of the District by R. F. T. and F. P. L. Entered at Stationer's Hall. Settle is a small market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire famous for the several caves in which prehistoric remains have been found. In a decorative blue cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Spine is sunned. There is some bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered light foxing, and browning to the end papers. There are pencil sketches and annotations to the front pastedown and verso of front free end papers. There is a blind stamp to the recto of front free end papers and a blank label to the title-page.
