In good condition. Nicely preserved copy! DJ has minor chipping along edges and spine extremes. Free of tearing. Toned overall. DJ wrapped in new Mylar jacket. Cloth in very nice condition free of any foxing or staining. Spine extremes lightly crushed from shelf wear. Decorative bookplate on front pastedown of Edmund N. Carpenter II. Interior in excellent condition. Lightly toned. Free of foxing or marginalia. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. Densely illustrated, scarce with dust jacket. Norman Mills Price (1877-1951) was a Canadian American illustrator known for his work in historical subjects. Price was honorary president of the Society of Illustrators in New York. Owned previous by Edmund N. Carpenter II. Edmund N. "Ned" Carpenter II was president of Richards, Layton & Finger, a law firm located in Wilmington, Delaware.
