His father was a bookseller by the name of Christopher Robin Milne, and ultimately served as the main inspiration for his popular literary character. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with some light shelf wear and a few light marks to the boards. A previous owner's light stamp to the front free-endpaper. Internally, binding lightly strained. The odd spot to the pages, which are otherwise clean throughout. Very Good.
