This VG book has a slight lean with lightly bumped corners but no edge dings; head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped with slight fabric damage. The front panel illustration is not damaged but there is slight discoloration of the top 1/4". Except for an inked 1926 inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage. Hinges are very strong, the frontis is attached and undamaged, and the lightly toned paper is quite flexible. The VG- jacket has chips at the head and heel of the spine and at the front corners (see photo) but no lettering is affected; there is visible small pieces of scotch-type tape at the top of the rear gutter and at the top of the front panel--there are also 5 or 6 other small pieces of tape on the reverse side of the jacket.
