A lovely little gift book containing twelve poems about friendship, each page decorated with a different art deco style header in orange & purple. Edgar Guest was a prolific and beloved American poet of the early 20th century nicknamed "the poet of the people". CONDITION DETAILS (see our photos of actual book for sale): Tan paper covered boards with blue, gold & black design. Some soiling, especially on the back cover, but cover design is still pretty.Edges & corners only slightly rubbed. Binding is tight and square. No dustjacket. Pages are crisp and clean with just a bit of foxing around the illustrations, but no writing, marks, creases, tears or stains. Approx. 6.75"x5.5" NOT ex-library.
