For your consideration a vintage small hardcover book titled: The Fruit Cultivator s Manual, Containing Ample Directions for the Cultivation of the Most Important Fruits, Including the Cranberry, the Fig, and the Grape, with Descriptive List of the Most Admired Varieties and a Calendar, Showing the Work Necessary to be Done in the Orchard ad Fruit Garden Every Month of the Year by Thomas Bridgeman. This small hardcover book (4 ¾ x 7 ½ inches, 190 pages) for sale by the Author in New York dated 1847 and through various publishing houses. This book is bound in printed papered boards with a quarter spine in dark brown cloth (please see the photos). Please also see the photos of the portions of the Table of Contents for your better understanding of the book. There is a tissue-guarded portrait of the Author as the Frontispiece but no other illustrations. Condition: This book is in good condition albeit with some issues. The hardcovers…both sides…are soiled but still mostly legible. The cloth quarter spine is brittle and has lost some of its pieces in the gutter (see the photos). Inside the book is unmarked but many of the interior pages are toned behind the text block (but not all; publishers used different paper?) and have some random but not too frequent smudges of soiling.
