This is a catalogue of furniture from the 1930s consisting of 26 photographs of suites and sets of furniture each of which is titled and with "W. & N." over "P" in the lower right hand corner. This may be a catalogue from White and Newton of Portsmouth, a company started in 1924, but without any other identifying features I cannot guarantee its origin. The book appears to be a salesman's copy with all the photos held in place by a metal clip which would allow photos to be added or removed easily. Only three photos have prices on their backs - 2 of which are dining sets priced at £14-10-0 and £15-15-0 respectively. The third photo of bedroom stools has prices typewritten on the back varying between £1-3-3 and £1-18-3. Generally in very good condition but the top cover has a dent where the underlying metal clip has penetrated and there are two small rust stains probably from staples in a document placed on its top.
