This VG quality book was published in 1936 (this is clearly a later printing) by The Goldsmith Publishing Company. It is 8-1/8" tall and has 249 numbered pages. It is square, very clean, free of edge dings with a lightly bumped top front corner; the head and heel of the spine are creased with no fabric damage; the bottom edges and corners have very little wear. Both hinges are strong and intact. Except for an penciled 1944 inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. There are no illustrations, which is typical of this publisher. The paper has fairly significant toning but is still very flexible. The VG- quality jacket is lightly soiled, with small chips at the front corners and at the head and heel of the spine. The spine has some fading (see photo). The very colorful front panel illustration is nearly intact. One issue: the jacket and book cover last the author as Warren F. Robinson, whereas the title page has the author as Edward O'Connor.
