- Octavo, green cloth titled in gilt on the spine with black ruled frames on the covers. The top edge is gilt. The covers are rubbed and bumped. 228 pages, plus 4 pages of the publisher's ads, illustrated with 3 full-page color maps. The text block is cracked at the end of the preface and a couple of signatures (i.e. groups of pages) are pulled. There are heavy creases to the top corners of the last few pages. Good.
