A team of friends are on an adventure to gather the pieces of a powerful weapon that would not only destroy our own galaxies but the galaxies of the other dimensions. The team has to travel from planet to planet just to find one piece on each of the planets before the evil Order of the Book of Shadow finds them. The team runs into a great deal of trouble along the way which slows their search for these pieces down. The question on both sides minds is are we going to be the ones to gather the most pieces of this weapon and will it be able to be used without some of the pieces being present?

Chapter One

Travelers in Route

The three are now on their way down the portal to the next world. The three had never been so cold in their lives. They all wished that they would have worn something more suited to the cold of this portal; even the portals before were never this long or cold. They were all spinning and shivering as they went down the passage way to what they hope to be a warmer world. All of a sudden they all went crashing face first on a piece of land in the middle of the portal.

"What the heck did we hit" Ron said as he pealed his body off the ground.

"It appears to be a chunk of ground Ron" replied Lillanium as she got up to her feet and feeling the pain of the fall throughout her tiny body. "Jeffrow you okay?"

Jeffrow then rolled over and looked up and said "Darn piece of rock, a feller could be hurt bad with this thin' in the way!" "We're also still in this darn transport syst'm!"

"That we are everything is still a deep brilliant blue and this place is cold as crap but there is vegetation growing in this place" said Ron "Well I hope something is eatable on this stinking rock; I'm hungry!"

As soon as the three stood up and dusted themselves off they went to explore the new land they found themselves in. The vegetation was a strange brown-orange color but still looked healthy. There were trees and bushes in this cold strange land. The three also saw some stuff that looks like it might be eatable but Ron would have to inspect it first before anyone could eat any of it. The last thing they needed to do was eat something to make them all sick or immobilize them! Ron then began the task of examining the vegetation for something they all could eat. Ron determined that only 2 of species of what appeared to be fruit to be harmful to them so he told the others to steer clear of these two types of fruit things. The three then ate their fill of food then were off again to explore the land; then try to figure out how to get off of it.

"Maybe our next course of action should be to find some sort of thing to make warmer clothing" said Lillanium with some hope the other two would agree with her.

"We are going to find the end of this rock then we will then decided what to do next" said Ron "No need in getting something warmer if we are getting off of this rock." "Now let's get moving it will help us warm up for the time being."

The three didn't have to travel too far to find the end of the landmass. When they approached the edge they noticed that the portal had a river flowing from the rock in the direction they needed to go. Ron found a stick and put it into the water and when he pulled it out it was smaller then when he put it in! Then Ron decided to put a piece of fruit on the end of a stick to see what would happen to the fruit. When he pulled the fruit and the stick back out of the water the fruit and stick had shrank in size.

"I wonder if this is liquid nitrogen" said Ron "There is no real way to tell but it does the same thing that liquid nitrogen does but that don't make it that."

"Feller you lost me" said Jeffrow with a puzzled look on his face.

"The thing is I don't know if we can get off this rock Jeffrow" said Ron in frustration.

From out of no where a bull came running towards the three. The bull was a beautiful black and it had a nose ring made of what appeared to be silver. The bull seemed to mean business and had its head lowered to try and gore one of them. All three of them dodged the bull with no incident several times then the bull did something they all did not expect the bull turned into an elderly looking human man. The man had long white hair and beard; he was about 6 feet 5 inches tall. This man was also very muscular and wore what appeared to be some outfit from the Greek or Roman time frame on earth. He walked with confidence up to the three and stood there staring at them.

Ron then said "Hi, my name is Ron we are apart of the Galactic Counsel and we are their chosen warriors." "This here is Jeffrow and this hear is Lillanium."

"Let me see the marks that you all should bare then" said the old man with a loud low voice.

"Tell us your name and we shall show you our marks" shouted Ron!

"I asked first and I shall see them or I shall be forced to destroy you or die trying" said the old man in anger.

The three not wanting a fight all showed him there marks on their bodies. He looked over them all very carefully while looking at the palms of his hands. When he was done with his inspection of their marks he came back to Ron and looked him dead into the eyes.

"Okay White Wizard my name is Achelous and I was apart of a three at one point and this is where I came to Retire" said the old man as he showed Ron his hands.

Achelous had the Galactic seal in the same hand as Ron and saw that he was also a White Wizard at some point in time. Ron motioned for the others to come and see the marks on Achelous hands. They were all in aw; they could not believe they ran into one of the three from a time long ago.

"So the Galactic Counsel sent you here for Retirement" Ron said sounding a little confused.

"No, I asked them to send me here because I could not return to my home planet ... that and I cannot stand a lot of beings around me" said Achelous with a sigh "That is what happens to some of us.... We just get tired of war and other beings!" "So I chose the one place that I knew I could survive and not become something that I would hate.... The evil I was fighting."

"I am glade you found a place where you could live in peace other then the occasional travelers like us" said Ron with a smirk.

"Not too many people come through but when they do they are usually someone the Galactic Counsel has sent on a mission or have gotten here by mistake" laughed Achelous. "Well I am sure you all would like some warmer clothes and a place to lay your head down for the night." "Just follow me to my home and you can stay there until we can get you out of here and onto your next mission!"

While the three were following Achelous to his home the portal opened once again and spat out three creatures. They looked like the sorcerer and the two witches from the court of King Talon. They had the same tattered garments on that they were wearing when they left the King to his doom.

"Fine place we landed in ... it is very brrrrr" said Spaz.

"Quit your winning witch we need to figure out where we landed and how to get the rest of the way to where we are going" shouted Kinon "I so hate these portal jumps you never know where you will end up!"

"Sister we should use our magic to get something warmer that will solve that problem and as far as these portal things we were told by the head sorcerer of Sorcerer's Palace to make sure we keep an eye on the three" said Cheman.

"Yes once again witches you are right" Kinon sighed "Now all we have to do is find them shouldn't be too hard; this place cannot be too big."

The three began there search for Ron, Jeffrow, and Lillanium. They cast a spell to try and find Ron's magic foot steps and the spell worked. They followed the tracks to the river on the other side of the land. They saw that there was another two magical beings with them.

"Great now we are going to be out numbered how are we going to be able to keep them from going onto the next world" Spaz said shaking with fear.

"We will find a way my sister and we will kill them all" shouted...
