In the original publisher's cloth binding, binding not uniform. Externally, generally smart. Damp stain to the edges of the boards of Volumes I and II, a little heavier to Volume II. Cracks to the joints of Volume I. Minor bumping to the spines and extremities. Some minor marks a to the boards and spines. Light rubbing to the spines. Front hinge of Volume I is a little strained, rear hinge is starting but firm. Front hinge of Volumes II and III are starting but firm. Bookseller's label to the front paste down of Volumes I and II.
