Leyden,Ioannem Orlers,1616. 4to,98pp. Original blue paper-covered boards. Untrimmed, deckled edges. This genealogy of the Duchy of Nassau and related entities, covers from 682 A.D. to 1616. There are 15 rather finely rendered woodcut portraits, and engraved initial letter, several printings of a tailpiece and an elaborate woodcut on the title-page signed with an interlocking C and I. The text block is splitting at about the mid-point but the book is held together by its original vellum straps. Cover in worn and there is a minor water-stain on some pages.
