From the collection of the late John Steane, former county archaeologist for Oxfordshire, whose name is penned to FEP, and whose marginalia and neat and clarifying hand colouring is noted. Jacket is marked and sunned. Edges are creased and torn. Board corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Page block is lightly tanned and blemished. Previous owner's name penned to front pastedown, and marks on REP. Hinge break at rear board, however binding remains sound, boards are clean, and pages are clear. LW. Used.
