Loss to leather on spine, primarily towards top and bottom. First several pages loose at front. Staining to edges and corners of some pages. Some chipping, foxing, and edge wear to pages. Illustrated frontispiece at front that has bled into title page. Plates to the Geometrical and Graphical Essays, by the Late George Adams. The Fourth Edition, Corrected and Enlarged by William Jones. 1813, 34 foldout plates, 8.75 x 5.75 , 8vo, hardcover original boards. In good condition, with rubbing and wear to boards and label on spine. Hinges remain in good condition and plates are bound well. Light marginalia. Plates remain in good condition. Small punctures through front board, one of which goes through the first dozen plates. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear.
