A catalogue from this renowned bookseller of 320 books printed from 1465-1500, covering a broad array of subjects, including astronomy, bibles, classics, economics, encyclopedias, geography, history, humanists and neo-Latin authors, Judaica, law, mathematics, medicine, philosophy and theology. All the major presses of the period are represented, including Koberger, Zainer, Quentell, Schoeffer, Mentelin, Aldus and Amerbach. It is hard to imagine that a comparable group of incunabula, in such sheer numbers, could be offered for sale today to the same extent as here.
