Original publisher's white paper wrappers with color illustration and black-and-white lettering on front cover. Black lettering printed on spine. 7 3/4" x 5 1/2." Unpaginated, forty-nine pages. Ninety-four black-and-white, full-page printed photographs (photographic illustrations), complete. One additional illustration is a composite photo. Pages are very clean and intact except for light age toning and occasional small smudges. Covers are very clean and intact except for slight darkening, slight chipping at head and tail of spine, slightly bumped corners, and a few numbers in blue pen on back. A Very Good copy. Many photos show people wandering about the destroyed city. Some of the photos show scenes of San Francisco preceding the disaster such as two that show a print shop in Chinatown and a city corner in Chinatown and others that show various parts of the city intact. One of the photos shows "Angel's Flight" in Los Angeles, unaffected by the earthquake. The last few photos show Stanford University appearing to be largely intact (may be photos of the university preceding the earthquake). The photos are accompanied by brief captions.…
