A very scarce uncorrected proof copy of the BBC Announcer by John Miller. The story begins with Miller's birth in a theatre to his various jobs in radio and broadcasting. Throughout the work sections have been cut and pasted over others with hand-written corrections and additions throughout. In a paper binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with marks to boards and bumping to corners. Closed tear to backstrip and part of backstrip lifting. Ink inscriptions to pages throughout.
