A simple instruction on the Christian faith, partly in the form of a catechism, and partly as commentary on the Nicene creed & Lord's Prayer, and partly as instructions on how to live a day as a pious Christian.Jeremiah (Jeremy) Taylor (1613-1667), a celebrated Anglican divine, chaplain in ordinary to King Charles I, imprisoned during the Protectorate of Cromwell. After the Restoration he was made Bishop of Down and Connor in Ireland, and became Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dublin.
