Top edge gilt. Illustrated with eight colour plates reproduced from watercolours by Harold Copping (1863-1932), a British artist best known for his successful 1910 book The Copping Bible. His illustrations were published in many periodicals, such as The Leisure Hour, Little Folks and Pearson's Magazine. He also illustrated other books such as The Pilgrim's Progress (1903), Westward Ho!
