Beschreibung
(price-clipped) [teensy nick in cloth at bottom of front cover, otherwise tight and clean with no discernible wear; jacket is similarly nice, with just one short closed tear at top of spine, downgraded just a bit only because of the price-clipping]. (pen and ink drawings) Attractive copy of a later printing of Hilton's classic about an beloved English schoolmaster, which became an equally beloved 1939 film starring Robert Donat, and a less beloved but still respectable 1969 musical film version starring Peter O'Toole. This printing is undated, but the rear-panel biography of the author refers to "Time and Time Again," published in 1953, as "his most recent novel," and he died in 1954; I'll let you do the math.
