Title and brief history of the Salt Lake area printed on verso. Mount has moderate soiling, photo has light yellowing and soiling. For around three decades, Charles William Carter (1832-1918) produced numerous views of Utah and Mormon life. He was active in Salt Lake City from 1867 to 1896.
