Hand-picked tales from the father of the Forgotten Realms® make a great entrypoint for new readers and provide satisfying nostalgia for current fans.

Collected together in one deluxe, trade paperback package for the first time ever, these three tales straight from the streets of Waterdeep, one of the Forgotten Realms' most classic cities, are a great entry point for new readers and a classic collectible for current fans. Join the revolution in Steven E. Schend's Blackstaff Tower, as a band of idealistic adventurers combat corruption and aid in the ascent of a new mage protector of Waterdeep. Uncover secrets of the past in Jaleigh Johnson's Mistshore, as a young woman is forced to bargain with hardened criminals in a district built on the backs of derelict ships. And fight for justice in Erik Scott de Bie's Downshadow, as the vigilante Shadowbane delves into the recently settled ruins of one of the Realms' most notorious dungeons.

Since 1990, Steven E. Schend has worked full-time or freelance as an editor, developer, designer, writer, or assistant manager for at least six publishers on dozens of fictional worlds. He has published six short stories and two novels with DAW, Tekno Books, and Wizards of the Coast. Steven now lives with his wife in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he teaches and works feverishly on novels and stories in worlds of his own.

Jaleigh Johnson is the author of the Forgotten Realms® novels The Howling Delve, Unbroken Chain, and Mistshore. She lives with her husband in the wilds of the Midwest, where she enjoys reading, going to movies, and mucking in the garden. You can visit her online at www.jaleighjohnson.com.

Erik Scott De Bie lives in the Seattle area with his wife, two cats, and far too much gamer stuff. He writes technical documentation by day, fights injustice by night, and gives the rest of his time to his fiction, gaming, and his lovely lady (not necessarily in that order). Downshadow is his third Forgotten Realms novel. He maintains an author's blog at eriksdb.livejournal.com, which is linked from his website, www.erikscottdebie.com.
