Griesmer (Cleveland, Ohio), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall paperbound in blue printed covers, two-hole punch with metal posts, black cloth tape to spine, printed only on recto side of each leaf, illustrated with black-and-white photographs and maps (one folding), 104 ff. plus a one-page 1984 errata and correction bound in. Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with a stamp to the cover indicating this was a duplicate copy sold by the Library of Congress. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this uncommon genealogy. ~GG~ [2.0P] Looks at the ancestry of, and traces the known descendants of, Johannes Griesemer (b.1831), who married Katharina Seeger in 1862, and the family then immigrated from Germany to Cleveland, Ohio in 1882. Descendants lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes other Griesmer immigrants and residents in Ohio.
