Photo measures 8 ½ x 13 ¼ inches; mount measures 11 x 15 inches. Photo has moderate yellowing. Flexible card mount has glue residue on verso, light soiling and moderate wear. Overall very good. This photograph depicts Grotto Geyser near the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park. It was taken by the prolific and talented photographer William Henry Jackson in 1871 on the Hayden Expedition into Yellowstone.
