Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Simon Jakeman was born in London in 1959 and made his first parachute jump as a member of a commando unit in the Territorial Army. He has since made over 1,200 jumps and is a gold medalist in competition formation freefall. He has travelled widely in Europe and North Africa and now lives in California.
