Greening and Co Ltd. London. 1908. This book is 'Gulliver's Travels' by Dean Swift. Two handsome volumes in hardback, green paper covered boards with gilt titles to front and with green, and with gilt titles and decoration to spine. Boards are rubbed to tips with dots of rub to edges Now protected in clear, removeable cellophane. Drawings of maps throughout. These are volumes 5 and 6 of the 'Dean Swift's Works' series. Please note: some pencil notations to contents of Volume 5. Swift's Works' series. Jonathan Swift (30 November 1667 Ã 19 October 1745) also used the name 'Dean Swift'. Both volumes are solid books with deckle- edged paper. Covers are very good with a little fade to spine. Gilt edging to top of text block. Lightly scuffed to covers. Contents bear age spotting otherwise very good with pencil notations to some pages to volume 5 and pencil inscription to rear of back board in Volume 6. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
