A very comprehensive history of Bury and neighbourhood in the county of Lancaster. No date but for the date 1874 at the end of the preface. 8vo. Pp, vi, [1], 326. Original cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front cover. The spine has been professionally relaid at some period with new endpapers. 12 engraved plates which have been cut back @ half inch all round, probably when the spine was done, it does not effect the engravings. Some foxing mostly to the engravings. I'am making this book sound terrible,but overall it is a good sound copy. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 1519.
