Cloaked with it since 1982, we have followed two best friends life stories in former Yugoslavia, not aware that after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Curtain will have risen and the two friends would have found themselves in a war story with a dash of theatrical drama elements. After the 1991 JNA aggression towards Croatia had started, brutal conflicts have taken place, in which the aggressors have tried to prevent Croatian independence, as well as biological survival of Croatian people. The two friends became arch-nemesis, and their relationship naturalistically shows the author s views of the war horrors, which in turn make this novel an antiwar, clear plea not to replay such dehumanization.
