Mark Barnes is a veteran classroom teacher, internationally recognized author and speaker, and creator of the Hack Learning Series. Mark is the author of six education books, including the critically acclaimed Role Reversal (ASCD, 2013) and Assessment 3.0 (Corwin, 2015), which encourages teachers to eliminate traditional grades and build an ongoing conversation about learning. His Facebook group, Teachers Throwing Out Grades, is a growing collection of educators, parents, and students, dedicated to changing the way learning is assessed in classrooms around the world. Jennifer Gonzalez is a National Board Certified teacher.
