DJ seperated at spine with small losses and light soiling. Spring.Vol.3. 8th printing 1964, Summer-Autumn, near fine in VG DJ. Vol.4. 1st edition, 1952, Near fine in VG DJ with small chip on spine. Autumn Winter. All with illustrations of classical Japanese art, some in color. Pictorial endpapers. Complete set of the important series on Japanese short poetry known as Haiku. It's a set of mixed editions but the bindings are uniform and interiors are clean. I have covered the DJ's with clear protective jackets. These books by Blyth for the first time gave English speakers an introduction to this poetry from it's ancient origins to modern day. He explains it's relationships to Zen and Buddism.
