Beschreibung
Thin, oversized hard cover. No jacket, as issues. 4to (8.5 x 11 in.). Beautiful red cloth with stamped gilt title and courthouse image on cover. Stamped gilt title on spine. Cover is in nice shape, no scars, scratches or stains. Corners and edges are clean. Inside pages are clean, also. Hale County, Texas, sits just south of the Panhandle region. Agriculture and outdoor recreation are central to the economy and culture. County seat Plainview is also home to Wayland Baptist University. This book was compiled to show the history of the area though it bears no date or specific purpose. There is no real written narrative so the pictures present an "impression" rather that substance. A nice piece of Americana. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 001405
