Undated but Looks like 1st edition of 1865 due to Preface ending with "it is intending to publish a companion volume of Specimens" & Addenda on page 640 mentions while going through the press a book of "works of Michael Bruce 1865", & inadvertently omitting Elizabeth Browning with mention to her books the last being Aurora Leigh in 1856. Therefore it would seem this is a rare original 1st Edition of 1865 640 + xx pages front +7 index +6 publishers ads rear . Embossed brown buckram binding fair with traces of tape to spine & front cover being crudely attached, Contents very good clean & tight with exception to poor end pages , tiny owners name top of Title page & tape to inside front cover. 13 x 19cm Approx.
