This handbook is a collection of ideas I have collated over 30 years and which have found their way into reports to the Court and my writing generally and many of them have been adopted as good and reasonable practice. Many of them come from Practising Insurance Brokers themselves. I have just put them into words that have substance and force. There is a long way to go before the handbook is complete and it will probably never be finished. It is up to the profession of insurance broking and in particular the Practising Insurance Brokers to give their opinions and to refine and develop what has been started. I hope the founder members of the IBSC will champion that campaign.
