This handbook also includes descriptions of the catalogues used and extensive classed lists of the British LIbrary's manuscript collections. The copy of clergyman Henry Robert Lloyd (1809-1880) of St. Mark's, Kennington and rector of Cliffe, with his signature on front pastedown. Note: due to printer error, page ix is printed twice, the second time in place of page xi, which is therefore lacking.
