28x21 cm. 28 issues of this short-lived (1868-1870) periodical. Issues are loose and in good condition, removed from a bound volume. The issues present here are Numbers 2-14 (February 1868-February 1869) and 23-36 (November 1869-December 1870). The periodical changed names between issues 24 and 25, shortening the title to just Haney's Journal. Originally targeted for farmers and housekeepers, in the last year of publication the range of articles was somewhat wider, including much on natural history, animals and birds. The first two issues have front page articles describing magic tricks. This magazine ceased publication after December, 1871. Not in Lomazow or Mott. AAS 19111 & 19372.
