Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor:
Gary Roe is the author of Surviving the Holidays Without You and the co-author (with Cecil Murphey) of Saying Goodbye and Not Quite Healed. With over 300 grief-related articles in print, he is a popular speaker at a wide variety of venues. He currently serves as a writer, speaker, and chaplain with Hospice Brazos Valley in central Texas.
Gary's story began with a childhood of sexual abuse and numerous other losses. When his life began to unravel as a teen, another family took him in and changed the trajectory of his life.
Eager to help others heal and grow, his heart turned outward. Over the next three decades, he served as a campus minister, a missionary in Japan, a pastor, and a hospice chaplain.
Gary says, "I'm here to help. I still bear the scars of my wounds. I grieve, get anxious, worry, and battle fear regularly. But I'm healing, and I invite you to join me."
Visit his website at www.garyroe.com for more grief recovery resources, or drop him an email at contact@garyroe.com. He would love to hear from you.
