Inhaltsangabe: There is a growing interest in mountain flying and a significant lack of information on the subject available to the helicopter pilot. The aim of this book is to supply this much-needed information and to present it in an easy-to-read format. In this handbook safe mountain flying techniques are explained in simple, non-technical language. The author also explains Advanced Techniques which are not covered in other training manuals and which will be of particular interest to pilots already holding their helicopter license.
Über den Autor: Norman Bailey first learned to fly in the Army Air Corps and later became a graduate of the RAF's Central Flying School for Helicopter Instructors. He is a CAA Helicopter Examiner and was a member of the UK Panel of Helicopter Examiners from 1976 to 1986. He lives in Manchester, England.
