Henry Moore signed/inscribed Rodin Exhibition Catalogue from the Hayward Gallery in 1970. Henry Moore was a great admirer of Auguste Rodin and was a collector of his work. The perfect-bound 120pp exhibition catalogue contains a long interview with Henry Moore about Rodin in which he comments on how he has been influenced by the great French sculptor and his appreciation of Rodin's statue of Balzac (on view at the exhibition) which is generally felt to be his greatest work. Henry Moore has signed in blue ink the tipped-in green 4 page catalogue insert "Rodin and England" by Cecile Goldscheider and added "with Stewart looking at Balzac" with another sentence in French below.
