Beautiful gilt emblem from Christ's College Grammar School NZ to front cover. (Now known as Christ's College.) Christ's College Grammar School presentation plate pasted to inside of front cover, dated 1917. Signed by headmaster G E Blanch. Blanch held the headship of Christ's College, Christchurch, New Zealand, from 1914 - 1920. Blanch died of influenza on 18 September 1920 at the school and was buried in Linwood cemetery. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Anglican synod and of the Diocesan Education Board in Christchurch. Marble end papers. Binding tight.
