In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally smart with fading to the boards and spine, handling marks, creasing to the rear and bumping and wear to the extremities. Front hinge starting with an old ink inscription dated 1899 to the front free endpaper and a closed tear to the rear with offsetting. Internally firmly bound with age toned pages with light handling marks and the odd closed tear to the extremities.
