LIZ LERMAN is founding artistic director of Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, a dance company featuring a multigenerational ensemble that creates, performs, teaches, and engages people in making art. In 2002 Lerman was recognized with a MacArthur "Genius Grant" Fellowship.
