2 Volumes with black textured boards and black leather spines and corners, the leather significantly rubbed on all edges including 2 cm splits on top corners of spine of volume 1 and a 1 cm one top of vol 2. Internally a bookplate on each front paste down concomitant with written presentation written on ffep of vol 1. Ex library with all plates stamped on underside and occasional stamps in margins of text; both title pages stamped and title page and frontis of vol 1 heavily foxed. Vol 1: pp, xx, 592.
