Nehemiah Day Sperry (1827 1911) was an American educator and businessman who served as a U.S. Representative from Connecticut for eight consecutive terms from 1895 to 1911. He was also Secretary of State in Connecticut 1855-1856. See Howes H509; Sabin #31962. Later signature on the inside front blank.
